AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition For Windows and Mac
AMD has released an updated graphics driver package for AMD Radeon Graphics Cards, called AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, for Windows 10 and 11. This driver version adds support for the Unreal Engine 5.0 game engine and fixes bugs. However, it is important to note that some AMD users may experience visual artifacts when playing games such as Horizon Zero Dawn. Some users may also notice that the Radeon Performance Metrics overlay moves around on their desktop.
The Radeon image sharpening feature is based on an algorithm that clarifies interior details while leaving high-contrast edges untouched. This new feature has been integrated into AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition to improve gaming and productivity applications. The latest release of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition can be easily updated from the UI, so you do not have to download the entire package to receive all the updates.
The AMD March 2022 update also adds features like Radeon Super Resolution and AMD Link, but it does not include FSR 2.0. Users are encouraged to use the beta drivers and report bugs to AMD, since there are bound to be some. AMD has not provided a definite release date, but you can check them out on their website. AMD should take customer feedback more seriously and work on the driver before it is demonized by the gaming community.
During the beta testing period, AMD used a computer with a Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, 16GB DDR4, Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU, Windows 10 Pro, and AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 22.3.1 and 22.3.2. The developers tested Tiny Tina's Wonderlands at a 4K badass preset. AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
